DESIGN + BUILD
We are a full service design + build firm that provides professional design, planning, and general contracting. We offer comprehensive service from “conception to complete.” The advantage of the design + build model is that the client, builder, and designer are all in collaboration from the start. This method of collaboration helps eliminate gaps in communication, which in turn facilitates that projects stay on budget, are built to the highest standards, and meet the clients vision.
Design
The design process is iterative and cooperative. We are here to help the client articulate and synthesize their vision in an architectural language that suites them and the site, while maintaining our firm’s aesthetic integrity. We provide programmatic and design refinement through sketches, computer renderings, models and ultimately construction documents. A range of design products can be offered, depending on your budget.
Building
As a general contracting firm we are able to manage the project in its entirety or work on specific components. We are interested in projects of all sizes and budgets. On projects that we act as a general contractor, we hold preconstruction meetings with all of our sub-contractors to brief them on the project and look for ways to save time and money. The building process is scheduled tightly and executed accurately with a keen eye on the budget and overall objectives. A member of the ADB team is onsite daily for quality control. The project is photographed and documented regularly. We call for an energy audit before the interior wall materials are applied to check the envelope at a time when leaks can be easily and effectively sealed. Typically the whole process has both a design contract and a construction contract. In the end, we provide a comprehensive project manual with photos outlining building systems, mechanical components and maintenance schedules to aid the owner over the long run. We stand by our work 100%.
ENERGY REMODELS
Atmosphere Design Build is committed to making a difference in this lifetime by aggressively reducing carbon emissions and energy consumption in buildings we touch. It is important to go back and retro fit inefficient homes with better insulation and appliances. Sometimes the simplest improvements provide the greatest energy savings. We can provide the energy audit and an energy remodel plan to make your home perform more efficiently and that will save you money over the long haul. We will also help our clients take advantage of all the tax credits and other available subsidies. We have the experience and problem solving ability for the complexity that often accompanies taking on a remodel.
CONSULTING
We provide LEED or Build It Green consulting. We are happy to consult on how to help any project become more sustainable, whether you are seeking a “green building” certification or simply trying to improve energy efficiency, conserve resources, or looking for help with a design problem.
